It is my sincere belief that the citizens would be best served by publication of a "String Chart"
This chart would not, of course, be as clean as say an FBI crime family linkages chart as you would see (or likely not see) at a congressional hearing, but linkages and modifiers such as "Beholden","Owned","Related","LFH"(Long family history),"AK"(Ass kisser of),"PP" (partners of partners, as pertains to law firms, etc) would be most beneficial to the watchdog public. As it stands, what we appear to have is a tighly wound ball made up of different strands of yarn. IMHO it is not the strands themselves that are most curious, it is the interelationships of these strands and the bonds and linkages that makes some of the abject stupidities encountered in day-to-day operations on the political scene at all understandable.
As an obvious example of such a relationship:
Person Relationship Player
Remi Garza Owned Gilberto Hinojosa
Next we add in all the relationships to help explain how the day-to-day for a defeated administraton is left behind in the new administration with his own seperate department and power. (Which seems as silly to me as creating a cabinette post for James Carville in the Bush administration, or Hillary Clinton appointing Karl Rove as Secretary of Labor, should she win)
When they are in the dark, these strings have a powerful effect. When exposed to sunlight, they loose their strength. With enough light, the powers of darkness can be defeated and reduced to nothingness. It is in the dark that the money is stolen. It is in the dark that honest careers are ruined. It is in the dark that progress and change are thawarted. I will live in the dark NO MORE.

From the desk of the Merovingian
The debt hippo is looking to graze again.
The debt ridden PUB is looking to….guess what, you guessed it, take on more debt; forty-five million smackeroos, greenbacks, or the ever-popular dollars. It also appears that they will do whatever low-balling of electric cost figures it takes to engorge on this debt. Even the boards on the windows won’t keep the light of day off this one.
In a 2004 feasibility study, curiously done by Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation, (now where have I heard that name before?) they were called out on low-balling electric costs estimates at 3.5 cents per kilowatt hour in their draft report.
The operative attitude is reflected in their response questioning this silly, low figure:
” BPUB is willing to provide power to the Desalination facility under the municipal tariff that creates an energy savings to the project versus commercial rates. BPUB facilities and City of Brownsville facilities are charged for energy consumption utilizing this rate. This rate is offered only to municipally owned facilities.” (page 6)
Please allow me to translate this from PUB-speak to the real world the rest of us live in:
“We will fraudulently provide power to the project at this price on paper. Any shortcomings will be used to screw the ratepayers in Brownsville, as the difference in cost will appear immediately on their monthly bills”
Still looking like a three-year old, with crayon in hand that (sincerely) denies writing on the wall, they admit that 5.45 cents is the "real" number they should be using. For you folks that don’t think a couple of pennies matter, that is a 56% increase in the estimated cost of plugging this toaster in.I’m sorry sir that we over quoted the gas millage on your new car by 56%. Hmmmm….doesn’t seem work for me, either. (page 7)
If you want to read it yourself, 487 pages long, and John S. Bruciak’s signature and all, here is a link.

We’ll get to the 45 million, the villains, and other well documented evil plans later.
